NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Singer-songwriter, and producer Maggie Rogers dropped in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform her latest hit “Say It” with some help from Fallon’s house band leader Questlove.
“Say It” is the latest cut from Rogers major label debut Heard It In a Past Life, which was released in January via Debay Sounds /Capitol Records.
Rogers, who attended New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, has released two previous albums The Echo, and Blood Ballet on her own and scored a charting hit in 2016 with Alaska, the leadoff single from her 2017 EP Now That the Light Is Fading.
While she took a little time out for the gig on Fallon, Rogers has a busy tour schedule for much of the year, with dates scheduled in Australia, North American, Europe, and the UK.
Scheduled performances include the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta on May 5th; Roskilde on July 3rd; Barn on the Farm in Gloucester on July 5th; the Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY on July 13th; and the Newport Folk Festival on July 27th.
