LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Just hours after hosting the Billboard Music Awards Wednesday, Kelly Clarkson underwent an emergency appendectomy.
Clarkson, who had reportedly been suffering from appendicitis all week, hosted this year’s event and performed two songs during the show.
She took to Twitter yesterday evening to break the news to her fans and thank the “amazing people” at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles for taking good care of her.
Clarkson is making a full recovery and says she’s “feeling awesome now!”
