LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Following the recent release of their third reunion album without bassist Kim Deal, The Pixies have announced that they will play six intimate North American live shows this upcoming December.
The tour in support of Beneath the Eyrie, will kick off with two shows at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on December 2 and 3 and make stops in San Francisco, New York, and Boston before wrapping in Toronto on December 12.
A press release says these will be the band’s only US and Canada shows until their “major” North American tour in 2020. The band is also reportedly working to get tickets directly into the hands of fans and not the secondary market.
Fans attending the upcoming dates can expect the shows’ setlists to vary from night to night, “with every number determined just before it’s performed.”
Tickets for the six North American dates will go on sale Friday, September 27 at 10am local time.
