LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Festicket, the largest platform for discovering and booking festival experiences, has tapped former lastminute.com CEO Ian McCaig to serve as the organization’s new chairman, and legendary producer and promoter Harvey Goldsmith CBE as Senior Consultant.
McCaig who first joined lastminute.com in 2003, served as CEO of the company following its 2006 sale to Saber Corporation for $ 1.1 billion.
Following the sale, McCaig was named CEO of the company, a role he held for the next 5 years. Following his exit, he was appointed CEO of the energy company First Utility, which was sold to Shell in 2017.
Harvey Goldsmith CBE is a music impresario with more than 5 decades in the industry, and the man behind events such as Live Aid and Live 8.
