(CelebrityAccess) — Aussie psych-rock legends Tame Impala are teaming up with rising American indie pop star Perfume Genius for a North American tour next year.
The tour kicks off on May 29th at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, with additional shows slated through the summer before the whole affair winds up at The Gorge Amphiteather in George, Washington, on August 7th.
Perfume Genius, the art-pop project of Mike Hadreas, just concluded co-creating and performing in The Sun Still Burns Here, a collaboration between Hadreas and Seattle-based choreographer Kate Wallich and her company The YC.
The show featured an evening’s worth of dance and music and was commissioned by Seattle Theatre Group, The Joyce Theater and Mass MoCA.
