NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — The Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC) announced the debut of a new podcast aimed at empowering music creators to successfully navigate the convoluted world of licensing and royalties.
The “Taking Care of Your Music Business” podcast will feature interviews with songwriters and music executives, providing useful insights into the business side of the music industry.
The podcast will explore ways creators can earn and access royalties, including digital audio mechanical royalties managed by The MLC, allowing creators to take control of their career and increase their earnings.
Season one of the podcast includes interviews with top songwriters, including Jenn Schott, Anthony Smith, Kent Blazy, and Phillip White, and insights from industry executives including Serona Elton, The MLC’s Head of Educational Partnerships, Tony Alexander of Made in Memphis Entertainment (MIME), and Jamie Dominguez, The MLC’s National Director of Industry Relations.
