(Hypebot) – All U.S. independent labels, artists, distributors and partners are invited to submit projects for consideration for the 2015 A2IM Libera Awards (“The LIBBYs) Every year, the annual A2IM Libera Awards spotlight extraordinary achievements by independent labels and artists as voted upon by the independent music community.
The 2014 LIBBYs saw Merge Records’ Arcade Fire taking home the most LIBBYs (three awards, including a shared ‘Album of the Year’ with The Arctic Monkeys), while Daptone Records and Glassnote Records were honored with ‘Label of the Year’ awards. The 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award winner went to Alligator Records’ Founder and CEO, Bruce Iglauer. See photos from 2014’s event, watch video footage, and read the full recap HERE.
The 2015 A2IM Libera Awards will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Highline Ballroom in New York City.

You must submit only those artists, projects, partners or labels with whom you have worked. All nominee submissions must be for music, projects, or achievements that are related to commercially released projects in the United States via an independently owned/controlled label or artist during the period March 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, February 22nd.
Submissions will be pared down to final nominations our panels of independent music experts from media, retail, distribution, marketers, and other strategic music partners. Winners will be selected by voting members of A2IM and presented at the A2IM Libera Awards ceremony. — From the A2IM blog.
