LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Australian rapper Iggy Azalea leads this year's American Music Awards with six nominations, including nods for artist of the year, new artist of the year and single of the year.
Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams and John Legend all come in with five nominations each, while Kiwi singer, Lorde earned for nominations.

Other nominees include Imagine dragons, Bastille, One Direction, OneRepublic, Blake Shelton, and Jason Aldean.
Unlike the other music-based award shows, the American Music Awards are determined by fan votes and this year's awards show has an expanded "Artist of the year" category. The awards ceremony will take place on November 23rd at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on ABC.
