NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — Good weather and a strong lineup helped to increase attendance at this year's New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, with the festival seeing stronger attendance over last year at the seven day festival.
According to the Daily Comet, festival organizers said that 435,000 people attended this year's New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, approximately 10,000 more then 2013, but still trailing behind 2012's reported attendance of 450,000.
Attendance to Jazz Fest peaked in 2001, when an estimated 650,000 people attended.
2014 marked the 45th anniversary of the festival, with a lineup that included Bruce Springsteen, Phish, Christina Aguilera, Eric Clapton and numerous local acts across 12 stages. – Staff Writers
