BIRMINGHAM (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — As of the first of the new year, BJCC Arena will have a new name, Legacy Arena.
The 5-year, $2 million agreement, brokered by Red Mountain Entertainment, will see the 18,000-seat arena branded with the name of Legacy Credit Union.
Provisions of the agreement will add Legacy's logo to the arena's signage, as well as its ads, social media presence and other digital platforms.
Part of the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, the Legacy Arena first opened in 1974 and stages 36 events per year attended by nearly 400,000. Upcoming shows include Chris Brown and the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas. – Staff Writers
