Blue Ash Leaves Bad Taste

BLUE ASH, OH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Organizers of the 19th Taste of Blue Ash festival had to cancel its August 18th concert featuring the Commodores due to incliment weather.

According to one local vendor, "A Vietnamese monsoon rainstorm came down within five minutes and everyone disappeared."

The festival re-opened on the 19th; however, few people attended.

"First it was the heat that kept a lot of people away," said Bob Wheeler, clairinet player for the Dixie Four Band, who played that following day. "Now people are staying away in case it rains again."

Other performers for this year's Taste of Blue Ash included the Charlie Daniels Band, Darryl Worley, Billy Dean and Paul Rodgers, the former frontman for Bad Company. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
