LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — BMG is looking to leverage their catalog and roster with the launch of BMG Production Music, a full-service sound agency that offers one-stop, pre-cleared and custom production music services.
The new operation includes offices in LA, Nashville, London, Hilversum and Berlin, and has a catalog of around 400,000 tracks spanning all genres. The expansion into production follows BMG's 2011 acquisition of US-based Selectracks operation as part of Bug Music.
The offices will be overseen by Mitch Lijewski in the U.S., Farah Hasan in the UK and Paul Gulmans in Benelux & Germany. All three regional heads will report to Managing Director Geert-Willem Koolhof, the company said.
The company has already scored agreements with a number of major broadcasters, TV networks, film and games studios, advertisers, major brands, the company said. – Staff Writers
