MANCHESTER, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – A limited number of discounted “early-bird” tickets for Bonnaroo 2007 will go on sale today, before a single act has been announced for the annual four day festival.
The 2007 ‘Roo will be held June 14-17, in the same 700-acre location in Manchester, Tennessee.
“A lot of fans have asked us to do this,” Ashley Capps of promoter AC Entertainment told the Knoxville News-Sentinel. “We thought this was a good way to give hardcore Bonnaroo fans something special for their dedication to the festival.”
Capps said the 2007 line-up probably won’t be announced until late January, but that offering tickets before announcing the acts was following in the tradition of England’s Glastonbury Festival, which has actually sold out next summer’s show without a single band name.
The early-bird tickets for Bonnaroo are on sale at Bonnaroo.com, for $125, plus service charges and shipping fees.
In a statement, the organizers claim the ticket offer “ends as soon as the allotment is sold-out (Or until we come to our senses and cancel the promotion).” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
