CAMBRIDGE, UK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Cambridge Folk Festival, one of the longest running festivals in Europe, is set to mark its 50th anniversary with the 2014 return of the festival.
Set for July 31st-August 3rd, at Cherry Hinton Hall, the festival features a lineup that includes Van Morrison, Sinéad O’Connor, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Richard Thompson, Rosanne Cash, North Mississippi Allstars, Loudon Wainwright III and Afro Celt Soundsystem among numerous others.
Performances will be spread across 2 stages as well as a more intimate 'Club Tent' hosted by five local folk music clubs. Additionally, The Den will provide a performance space for up-and-coming local artists as well as offering a chance for members of the audience to perform.
