Chief Keef Arrested At South Dakota Airport

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (CelebrityAccess) — Chicago-based rapper Chief Keef has been arrested at an airport in South Dakota on charges of drug possession.

According to the Associated Press, Keef, whose legal name is Keith Cozart, was arrested at Sioux Falls Regional Airport after airport security allegedy found mariuana in both edible and smokeable form in his carry-on bag.

Cozart was booked into was booked into the Minnehaha County Jail following his arrest and is slated to appear in court for arraignment in Tuesday afternoon.

Cozart was in Sioux Falls to perform at an all-ages concert June 11 at the Ramkota Hotel following an anti-bully celebrity basketball event.

Cozart has had previous encounters with the law, including an arrest for disorderly conduct in Atlanta in May 2013, and he was sentenced to probation for pointing a gun at police officers in 2012.
