OTTAWA, Ontario (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers of Ottawa's CityFolk festival announced the lineup for the 2017 return of the event, with Jack Johnson, Father John Misty, and Rodriguez leading the bill.
The five-day, multi-stage festival will take place this year from Sept 13-17 in the city's Lansdowne Park.
Other artists on the lineup for 2017 include Amanda Marshall; Post Malone; Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats; Broken Social Scene; Margo Price; Corb Lund & Ian Tyson; Allan Rayman; Bahamas; Ruth B; Royal Canoe; The Philosopher Kings; Matt Mays; Scott Helman; A Tribute to Jesse Winchester; Big Thief; Fred Penner; Son Little; Lucy Dacus; Tank and The Bangas; Common Deer; Dead Flowers ; Rose Cousins; Twain; The Suitcase Junket; NEFE; and Sweet Crude, with more to be announced in the weeks ahead.
As well, the festival will feature an encore of their offshoot festival Marvest in venues around the city's Bank Street area. The details of the bill for this sub-event have yet to be announced.
