Coldplay's Head Full Of Cash Tour

LONDON (VIP-NEWS) — Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams Tour has grossed $144.3 million so far for the world tour’s European and Latin American legs, which played 30 shows and to 1.7 million fans.

The tour is currently on the road in the U.S., and will head to Australia and New Zealand in December.

The run through Europe kicked off in France on May 24 and stretched for six weeks, wrapping on July 6 in Denmark.

This tally includes the final five stadiums on the European itinerary, beginning with a two-night stint at the 55,000-seat Amsterdam Arena on June 23 and 24. Sellouts at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion and Friends Arena in the Stockholm market followed before the British band made its final stop in Europe at Copenhagen’s Telia Parken — also a two-night engagement. The Danish capital city’s soccer stadium produced the top box office counts among the five venues with $9.1 million earned from 144,475 sold seats on July 5 and 6.

The tour’s third leg, a seven-week trek through U.S. markets, launched on July 16 and is due to wrap on Sept. 3 in the San Francisco Bay Area. A final jaunt through four markets in New Zealand and Australia will close out the tour in December.
