Comcast-Spectacor To Utilize New Technology To Grow Customer Base

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —
In an effort to foster new relationships with both existing and potential customers, as well as generate additional business for its sports teams, Comcast-Spectacor is entering into a partnership with Turnkey Sports and Entertainment to utilize their leading market intelligence tool, FanTrak.

"We found Turnkey's products to be the right match for our business plan," said Comcast-Spectacor president and chief operating officer Peter Luukko. "Turnkey has set the standard for research and lead generation."

"Our goal is to identify new and perspective customers and cultivate these individuals into ticket purchasers," added Luukko. "Turnkey's products (Surveyor and Prospector) will generate leads, retain customers and provide instant customer feedback on their experience at our events."

"Comcast-Spectacor will be able to capture, filter and examine consumer profiles," said Len Perna, president and CEO of Turnkey Sports. "Comcast-Spectacor will then be able to pass these profiles to sales executives, helping them to heat-up the cold call process. This is the new way of doing business."

Utilizing Turnkey's Surveyor and Prospector, Comcast-Spectacor employs 10 individuals to walk the concourse of Wachovia Center during all events surveying the customers. The data collected is immediately entered and deciphered by FanTrak, instantly creating customer profiles. Comcast-Spectacor also surveys its customers on line.

Turnkey's market intelligence expertise helps clients identify new market segments and create new ticket sales accounts. The FanTrak tools will enable Comcast-Spectacor to capture vital consumer data and view reports immediately. Comcast-Spectacor will use FanTrak Surveyor to track consumer trends and FanTrak Prospector to develop detailed season ticket sales leads. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
