(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Compass Facility Management President Steve Peters has announced the formation of Compass Events, to focus on the creation of successful events at all Compass-managed facilities.
Craig Samborski, former owner and CEO of Secret Service Entertainment LLC, has been named National Director of Compass Events. As owner of Secret Service Entertainment, Samborski served as a promoter of concerts and Broadway productions throughout the U.S. and Canada, and served as a talent buyer for corporations, universities, ski resorts and municipalities. From 1995-2004, he was Director of Entertainment at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center in Minnesota.
As National Director of Events, Samborski heads up a combination of Compass resources that is charged with bringing a wide variety of programming to Compass-managed buildings, either through promoter rentals, co-promotions with other presenters, or venue-sponsored in-house promotions. Working with Steve Peters and Doug Kuhnel in the corporate office and the network of Compass facility managers across the country, he maintains a programming agenda focusing on concerts, family shows and attractions, sporting events, performing arts and children’s programming.
“Our ability to deliver events to the venues we manage is at the heart of the Compass corporate mission,” said Peters. “It comes down to one thing – successful events. This new division will have as its primary mission the creation of events for all our Compass-managed buildings.”
