NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer and and founding member of Traffic, Dave Mason has signed on with veteran manager Bruce Garfield of Bruce Garfield Entertainment.
Garfield got his start in the band merchandising business, but went to the label biz where he worked with record producers Stewart Levine, Jerry Goldstein and Tommy Lipuma. Then, after a stint at indie label Blue Thumb Records, he went on to a 15 year run at Capitol/EMI Records as head of Artist Development and Press Departments, then VP, A&R.
Garfield later joined with Bruce Lundvall to found the EMI/Manhattan Label Group and resurrect the iconic jazz label, Blue Note Records.
