(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After nine months on the air, former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider signed off heritage rock station WMMR in Philadelphia on June 17, to spend more time with his family. Snider, who broadcast from his family’s Long Island, NY home, told his listeners the strain was too much on his family life.
However, Snider, with his family in tow, can now be seen on VH1’s new “Meet the Family” special series. “Meet the Family: The Sniders,” will feature behind-the-scenes of Snider rehearsing with his band for a reunion tour and with his family at home and on the road with him while on tour.
The program premieres June 25 at 9 pm EST. — Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
