Def Leppard Announces Spring Tour

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Def Leppard is set to play a series of headline shows in spring of 2008 — as part of a 2008 World Tour. This year's outing includes 19 dates, kicking off on March 27 in Greensboro, NC and ending on April 26 in Chula Vista, CA. The tour is being produced by Live Nation. – The band is also set to release a brand new studio album in 2008 with details to be announced shortly with hints of some sort of collaboration in the offing.

Def Leppard comes off of a big year in 2007, which saw them on a 50 date tour with numerous SRO'd performances. To date, the band has sold over 65 million albums worldwide over the course of their career and have two 10 million plus selling albums, one of only 5 rock bands to achieve these numbers. The lineup for the forthcoming tour will be Joe Elliott (vocals), Vivian Campbell (guitar), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick "Sav" Savage (bass) and Rick Allen (drums).
