LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Delta Air Lines is deepening its ties to L.A.’s sports and entertainment community with a new six-year, multi-platform agreement with AEG.
Through the extended commitment, Delta will remain the official and exclusive airline of STAPLES Center, the official and exclusive airline and exclusive charter partner of the LA Kings hockey franchise, and an official partner of the GRAMMY Museum® at L.A. LIVE. Delta also will obtain new naming rights to the luxury suite levels at STAPLES Center.
As the official airline of the GRAMMY Museum, Delta holds naming rights to various major public programs and interior branding exposure in the museum and on all proprietary Museum programs and related marketing initiatives. In addition to its STAPLES Center, LA Kings and L.A. LIVE presence, AEG partners with Delta for its extensive global travel needs.
“We are very excited to extend our already strong partnership with Delta, which unites some of the most recognized sports and entertainment brands and platforms in Los Angeles with one of the world’s largest and most iconic airlines,” said Russell Silvers, Sr. Vice President, AEG Global Partnerships. “Both AEG and Delta share a visionary approach and commitment to activating platforms in a unique fashion, and this comprehensive program is truly a perfect example of a multi-property activation at its most creative.”
“What began five years ago as a partnership with the LA Kings and STAPLES Center has rapidly grown into a multi-venue, multi-asset, multi-country, relationship,” said Nick Baker, Sr. Vice President, AEG Global Partnerships. “Through a collaborative effort of our collective teams, we have had tremendous success in developing unique activations to showcase and brand Delta throughout the AEG portfolio.”
