LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Dick Clark Productions has pacted with the Academy of Country Music to continue producing the Academy's Country Music Award show, continuing a 29 year tradition.
According to Variety, the deal also includes provisions for the two firms to cooperate in developing and producing country music themed television programing.
Dick Clark Productions has been doing the award shows for 29 years and has exclusive right to produce, broadcast and distribute the ACM awards show, along with other related content.
"It's a natural fit for us to join forces with Dick Clark Prods. to meet the growing demand for country television programming," said ACM executive director Bob Romeo.
The show will be broadcast live from Las Vegas on May 18th at 8 P.M. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
