ANAHEIM, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After a new owner happened upon the fact that his new club had been operating illegally for 20 years, the storied Doll Hut in Anaheim was granted the necessary city permits to once again host live concerts.
New owner Juan Reynoso discovered six months ago that the venue never held the correct paperwork to charge for the punk, rockabilly and alternative concerts that have packed the small former truck stop for decades. The concerts were canned for months while the city reviewed his application.
The Doll Hut can begin again charging customers to hear live music unless public objections arise during a three week appeal period, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“That gives me some time to plan a nice big party,” club manager Dirk Belling told the paper. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
