ST. CHARLES, Missouri (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Family Arena in St. Charles was forced to postpone a graduation ceremony after the venue was damaged by a tornado on Friday.
According to the Patch.com, the heavy storms that moved through the area on Friday night left a large hole in the wall of the 10,000 seat arena.
Family Arena General Manager Mark Reifsteck told The Patch that plans were underway to fix the damage and have the arena back in operation by next week.
"The roof's fine because it's domed," Reifsteck told The Patch. "The wind, when it hit, sheared up underneath (a section of siding) and ripped it out."
According to Reifsteck two graduation ceremonies planned for June 1st and 2nd were the only events on the calendar that had to be canceled. Peter Frampton's Guitar Circus is the next concert on their calendar on June 11th. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
