(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — This season will be the final hurrah for country music fans at the Pat Garrett Amphitheater, in Strausstown, Pa. Pat Garrett and Suzy Dalton, the owners of the amphitheater have stated that this will be the final season for the venue.
"I love music, but concert promotion isn't making music —- it's strictly business," Garrett stated in a press release. "And while a few concerts a summer doesn't seem like a lot, promoting even one show is a heck of a lot of work. I want to go back to concentrating on making music.
The amphitheater's final season will feature performances by Tandem, George Jones and Tanya Tucker.
T. Graham Brown, performed at the first show at the 3,000 seat amphitheater, which opened in 1994. The venue has since played host to numerous country music greats, and has seen performances from artists as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
