NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — RCA Records has promoted Jennifer Fowler to the post of Senior Vice President, Digital Marketing. Fowler had previously held the title of Vice President of Digital Marketing.
Fowler’s expanded portfolio now includes oversight of digital and mobile marketing and all direct to consumer business for the label working on upcoming campaigns for Chris Brown, Usher, R. Kelly, Alicia Keys, Adam Lambert, P!nk, and Ke$ha among other artists. Fowler will continue to report to RCA President/COO Tom Corson and will continue to work out of the label’s Gotham digs.
Fowler joined Clive Davis’s J Records in 2001 as Manager, New Media, designing online marketing campaigns for artists such as Alicia Keys, Gavin DeGraw, Rod Stewart and Monica. J Records was acquired in 2002 by BMG and began to operate under the RCA banner until being shuttered by RCA in 2011.
Prior to J, she worked at Emusic.com, the independent digital music subscription pioneer, where she was named Senior Director of Label and Artist Relations, managing marketing and operations for labels like Epitaph, Ninja Tune, SpinArt, Concord Jazz and Koch Entertainment.
