LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Former Disney/ABC exec Bruce Gersh has joined the William Morris Agency as senior VP of Strategy and Operations – intellectual property, Variety has reported.
"Bruce's ability to generate ancillary opportunities for our artists will create new revenue streams that will ensure their artistic and economic sustainability," WMA executive vice president John Fogelman said. "Bruce is a visionary, having built his division at ABC to become a major source of development, growth and sustainability for their most popular franchises."
While at ABC, Gersh worked to developing a number of hot properties, including "Lost," and "Desperate Housewives." He was also a part of the team that spearheaded ABC's efforts to put their content on iTunes.
