(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Italy’s Gods Of Metal Festival is making a return to Milan for its 10th annual metal and mayhem concert, taking place at Idroscalo on June 1-4. Last year’s festival was held in Bologna, Italy.
The legendary show will feature many of hard rock’s top acts as headliners, including Guns N’ Roses, Motörhead, Opeth, Alice In Chains, Korn, Whitesnake, and Dimmu Borgir.
The festival will also feature the metal supergroup Down, made up of former Corrosion of Conformity guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, Eyehategod and Superjoint Ritual drummer Jimmy Bower, ex-Pantera bassist Rex Brown, Crowbar guitarist Kirk Windstein, and ex-Pantera and Superjoint Ritual vocalist Philip Anselmo.
Other acts scheduled to appear at the metalfest include Venom, Testament, Nevermore, Satyricon, Strana Officina, Fire Trails, Extrema, Necrodeath, Def Leppard, Stratovarius, Gamma Ray, Crucified Barbara, The Deftones, Stone Sour, Bloodsimple, and Benedictum. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
