TOKYO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Janet Jackson is planning to head across the Pacific with her Rock Witchu tour and has scheduled a string of four dates in Japan for early next year.
Last month, the singer cancelled the final 7 dates of her much-ballyhooed U.S. tour, citing a vertigo-related illness. Wags however, have speculated that the dates were cancelled due to slow ticket sales, a suspicion that has been deepened by the fact that none of the dates has been subsequently rescheduled with promoters citing insurmountable scheduling conflicts.
According to JapanToday, the four dates, spanning February 14-22, 2009 will be the first visit by the singer to the island nation in six years. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
