Kings Of Leon Announce North American Tour


LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Rock and The Kings of Leon have announced plans for a tour of North America for early next year.

Promoted by Live Nation, the first leg of the tour kicks off on January 12th at National Harbor in Maryland, with routing through major U.S. cities including New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago before ending January 28th in Los Angeles.

The band is touring behind their seventh studio album "Walls" which was released on RCA Records on October 14th. The band scored their first number 1 hit with the release, selling 77,000 copies in its first week according to Billboard.

Two of Kings Of Leon's previous records have hit No. 2: 2013’s “Mechanical Bull” and 2010’s “Come Around Sundown.” “Only by the Night,” released in 2008, reached No. 4, selling 2.5 million copies and produced their best-selling single “Use Somebody,” which peaked at No. 4.
