LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Music services company Kobalt has named former BMG exec Laurent Hubert to helm its newly launched B2B rights management platform division.
In his new role at Kobalt, Hubert will oversee the roll-out of the company's white label technology services to other content owners.
Based in Kobalt's Los Angeles offices, Mr. Hubert will also chair Kobalt's investment committee and become a board member of Kobalt Capital, the advisory company for Kobalt’s fund business.
Prior to joining Kobalt, Mr. Hubert served as President, Marketing & Creative, at BMG, where he played a central role in reestablishing BMG as a global music powerhouse.
