Maybe former members of rock groups can get along; perhaps, it is the lawyers who can not fathom leaving well enough alone. Here is a sidebar to the continuing saga of Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth.
In the August issue of Maximum Golf magazine, a relatively new monthly with a rock and roll sensibility, Van Halen's Eddie Van Halen says, "The last time I spoke to or saw Dave was back in September of last year. I played him a few new tunes, we had some laughs. Everything looked pretty positive about gettin' together. But before you know it, attorneys are involved. These cats had me so beat down and confused. Everything seemed to fall apart once they got involved. We used to do it on a handshake. At this point, I don't have a clue what is going on."
