TEL AVIV (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation Entertainment announced on Tuesday that they've taken a majority stake in Israeli promoter, Bluestone Entertainment.
Bluestone Entertainment, a joint venture between Guy Beser, Shay Mor Yosef, Guy Oseary and Gadi Veinrib, was created in 2014 in a bid to bring international touring artists to Israel. Since launch, Bluestone has become a major player in Israel, producing concerts by artists such as Bon Jovi, Backstreet Boys, Enrique Iglesias, Major Lazer and One Republic. Upcoming shows being promoted by Bluestone in the market include Aerosmith (May 17) and Guns ‘n’ Roses (July 15) in Tel Aviv.
In addition to the acquisition, Live Nation announced the launch of Ticketmaster Israel, which has already taken over ticketing for Bluestone's major upcoming shows. The launch of Ticketmaster Israel brings the total number of international outlets for the Ticketmaster brand up to 28.
