CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After a two-year run in Chicago, Lollapalooza will not only be back at Grant Park next year, August 3-5, but will be calling Grant Park home for the next five years through 2011.
Parkways Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Chicago Park District, and Lollapalooza producers Capital Sports & Entertainment and Charles Attal Presents, have agreed to a multiyear deal, which calls for a minimum of $5 million over five years.
This year's three-day festival, which drew more than 60,000 each day, brought in more than $925,000 for park programs. –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
