AUCKLAND, NZ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Fresh from her Grammy wins, Lorde's first live post awards show performance was as the headliner for a special show following this year's Laneway Festival in Auckland.
Festival organizers reported that ticket sales took a significant bump after Lorde's Grammy Wins for Song of the Year and Best Solo Pop performance, with the festival selling out.
"We are really excited to have Lorde performing for her only summer show on the site. This will be the perfect way to celebrate her incredible achievement at the Grammys and see her play in a totally unique setting," Laneway Festival co-promoter Mark Kneebone told the New Zealand Herald.
The festival took place at Silo Park on Auckland's waterfront on January 27th with Lorde performing on the 29th. She had originally been slated to perform during the festival, but travel requirements following the Grammys necessitated a reschedule. – Staff Writers
