LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — Singer Mariah Carey is heading for Las Vegas for a headlining residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Designed exclusively for The Colosseum, Carey's residency will see her perform all 18 of her #1 hits, as well as popular album cuts and previously unperformed selections.
In conjunction with her residency, Carey announced that she will be re-releasing her greatest hits album "#1s" which will include all of her number 1 hits, as well as some newly recorded material.
The first series of 18 dates for Carey's residency kicks off on May 6th with additional performances through the month and July, 2015.
Mariah Carey is the best-selling female artist of all time with more than 200 million albums sold to date and 18 Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles (17 self-penned), more than any solo artist in history, but has seemed to face some challenges with her vocal range in recent months, with news reports of uneven performances dogging Carey after live performances in Tokyo and New York. – Staff Writers
