LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Muse has signed with UTA for worldwide representation.
The British rock trio was previously represented by the agency for international territories only.
Since forming in 1994 Muse has had eight albums reach the Billboard Top 200 and sold some 20 million albums worldwide.
Muse, which has won two Grammy Awards (including Best Rock Album this year) and two Brit Awards, is currently on its Drones World Tour.
They recently completed an historic five-night run at the O2 Arena in London, shattering the venue’s single-night attendance record, and the band is slated to headline Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. in addition to more than a dozen other summer festivals.
“Muse continues to redefine rock and roll with incredible imagination and musicianship," said UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer in a statement. "We are so excited to bring them opportunities across the entertainment landscape so they can continue to thrive as artists.”
Last August UTA acquired The Agency Group. The firm has offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Nashville, Toronto, Miami and Malmo, Sweden.
Muse continues to be managed by Q Prime.
