LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Hot on the heels of the release of "Americana" their first album in nine years, Neil Young and Crazy Horse are planning to hit the road in the Fall of 2012 for a tour of North America. This will be the group's first communal outing since their tour in 2004.
The tour is set to kick off at the WFCU Center in Windsor, Ontario on October 3rd and run through til December 4th, with the band performs at The Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT. Other planned gigs include dates at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden and the Air Canada Center in Toronto to name a few.
Crazy Horse, comprised of Neil Young, Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina, and Poncho Sampredo will be touring in support of "Americana," their 34th studio album which dropped earlier this month in North America. The album draws extensively on traditional North American folk music and peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200.
The tour is being produced by Live Nation.
