OKEECHOBEE, FL (CelebrityAccess) — The promoter of a new music festival in Florida is hoping that the event will help “put Okeechobee on the map, worldwide.”
Set for March 4-6, 2016, the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will take place on an 848-acre property property in the Central Florida town of Okeechobee.
While no acts been announced, organizers for the 3-day festival say that it will feature about 80 bands and DJS across five stages, including an electronic music stage, as well as classic rock, indie, alternative and folk music offerings.
“We have signed major headline artists and an amazing supporting lineup that will rival other major festivals in the United States and worldwide,” Steve Sybesma, founder of the event's organizer Soundslinger told the Okeechobee News. – Staff Writers
