AUCKLAND, New Zealand (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Vector Arena has named Guy Ngata as new General Manager of the venue.
Guy will be responsible for the management of Vector Arena, leading a dedicated and experienced team through this busy and exciting time. Vector Arena held its first concert in late March and has, since then, hosted outstanding international entertainment with many more concerts and sporting fixtures lined up for the immediate future.
Ngata’s role is to continue to develop and fine tune Vector Arena’s operations as the venue grows into its role as the entertainment hub of the South Pacific.
Ngata said in a statement the public is starting to appreciate the potential of Vector Arena, the country’s largest indoor entertainment venue. The Arena has almost a dozen concerts scheduled and planning is under way to host major international sporting events.
He says it is important that Vector Arena’s diversity is showcased and that the high expectations of hirers and the ticket buying public are met.
“My role is to ensure that Vector Arena is recognised as New Zealand’s premier live entertainment and sporting venue” says Guy.
Guy Ngata was formerly Operations and Events Manager at Trusts Stadium, Waitakere and before that Manager of Coaching for the Auckland Rugby Football Union.
