Nugent: Jail Or Death If Obama Re-Elected

ST. LOUIS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Politically vocal rocker Ted Nugent has been pounding the pavement on behalf of republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, telling the attendees of the National Rifle Association’s convention to actively recruit voters for Romney.

"Our government is wiping its ass with the Constitution," Nugent told the assembled crowd. "We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution. Does everybody here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense? That sounds like a stoned hippie. That doesn’t sound like a Supreme Court anything."

In a subsequent interview conducted at the convention, Nugent said that: "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year."

"It isn’t the enemy that ruined America. It’s good people who bent over and let the enemy in," Nugent continued. "If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him."

Nugent, who has publicly toyed with the idea of running for governor of Michigan, has been a controversial figure on the political scene. Known for his advocacy of gun rights and other conservative political views, Nugent in 2007 sparked an imbroglio when he told a crowd at one of his tourdates that "Obama's a piece of shit, and I told him to suck on my machine gun." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
