LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Grammy Award-winning and influential Latin/rock/jazz/funk/hip-hop/reggae group Ozomatli has signed with ICM Partners for representation.
First making a name for themselves in 1998 with their debut album and their performances at venues such as Dragonfly, Opium Den and The Viper Room, Ozomatli has gone on to win multiple Grammy awards.
The group recently became the first band to be asked to speak at the TED Conference, sharing their ideas about music and identities in the global age. In the band's nearly twenty years together, they have toured internationally, headlined the Hollywood Bowl on many occasions, collaborated with the Boston and New York Pops orchestra and served as Cultural Ambassadors for the U.S. State Department.
Recently, the band has scored music for films and television projects such as Happy Feet 2, A Better Life and Standup Revolution. As well, the bad has contributed music to PBS Kids and the EA Games release The Sims.
