BROOMFIELD, CO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Broomfield Event Center will henceforth be known as the Odeum Colorado after it re-opens on March 5th.
The announcement was made at a press conference hosted by Peak Entertainment, a joint venture between AEG Live and Denver-based Kroenke Sports Enterprises. Peak is overseeing an ongoing refurb at the arena.
Peak stepped in at the City-owned arena in September after the previous operators, Broomfield Sports & Entertainment asked to be released from their contract after the venue suffered from slow ticket sales.
When it reopens, the Odeum will be christened with a pair of performances on March 5 & 6 by Further, featuring Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
