NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Peter Gray has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Pop Promotion, RCA Music Group it was announced today. In this new role, Gray will be responsible for overseeing all pop radio formats. Previously, he served as the label group’s Vice President, Top 40 Promotion. Gray will continue to report to Richard Palmese, EVP, Promotion, RCA Music Group and will be based in the company’s New York headquarters.
Gray joined the RCA Music Group in 2002 as Senior Director, Top 40 Promotion and was elevated to Vice President in 2004 and relocated from Los Angeles to New York the following year. During his tenure at RCA Music Group, Peter has been instrumental in the radio campaigns and record breaking chart positions for Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, David Cook, Alicia Keys, Gavin DeGraw, Leona Lewis, Jamie Foxx, amongst many other hit makers on the RCA Music Group roster. He has lead the field staff and worked closely with the senior executive staff and artist management to ensure strategic and focused direction of all Top 40 radio campaigns.
