Auburn Hills, MI (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Peter W. Weber was named Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for Palace Sports & Entertainment (PS&E), it was announced by Dan Hauser, Executive Vice President.
Weber will be responsible for business development and sales for The Palace of Auburn Hills, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Shock, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival.
Prior to joining PS&E, Weber was a managing partner at Weber Marketing Group in Boston, Massachusetts where he developed his own company to assist Boston-based companies with their sports marketing activities. He also represented various properties for corporate sponsorship including naming rights and venue advertising.
Weber was also Senior Vice President of Sales for the Boston Bruins and the Fleet Center in Boston, Massachusetts where he was responsible for executive level management of all Fleet Center sales including advertising, sponsorships, premium seating, Boston Bruins tickets and group sales. Before becoming Senior Vice President, he was Vice President of Sales at Network International in Worcester, Massachusetts where he managed sales advertising for more than 25 venues including L.A. Coliseum, Nassau Coliseum and the Superdome in New Orleans.
Weber graduated from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. The Westport, Connecticut native now resides in Auburn Hills, Michigan where he enjoys golf and skiing. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
