NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Phish has announced the official lineup for their summer tour schedule. The iconic jam band will hit the road in June for a string of ten dates, starting with two gigs at the Nikon in Jones Beach on June 4th & 5th and and winding down with a two-night stand in Alpine Valley, Wisconsin.
A limited number of tickets are available directly through Phish Tickets' online ticketing system at http://phish.portals.musictoday.com . The ticketing request period is currently underway and will end on Saturday, January 17th at 11:59AM EST. Tickets go on sale to the public beginning Friday, January 30th at 10AM EST.
These dates are in addition to the previously-announced warm-up gigs the band has planned for March 6th-8th at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA.
The tour is a short one and includes no festival dates. Phish has a reputation for staging massive summer events such as the Great Went and Lemonwheel festivals staged in Maine, which drew upwards of 60,000 fans. The early end to the tour however, certainly leaves plenty of time for such endeavors and is perhaps a tantalizing hint for Phish phans. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
