Provinssirock Does Big Numbers

SEINAJOKI (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Provinssirock, Finland's largest rock festival ran for its 30th year from June 13-15 at the Törnävä Festival Park in Seinäjoki.

Organized by Kemu ry, duties for organizing the event was taken over by the Seinäjoki Live Music Association, Selmu ry in 1992. This year's event was SRO with a total crowd of more 75,000 music fans.

This year's lineup featured a diverse selection of both international and regional artists such as: Coheed & Cambria, Dinosaur Jr. Linkin Park, Stam1na, The Foo Fighters and numerous others.

Selmu ry is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to expanding awareness of Finnish music and many of the people who staff the fest are local volunteers or people who only receive a nominal payment for their efforts. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
