Punk Band Members Claim Innocence In Rape Charges

NEW HAVEN, CT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — An attorney for two men associated with the Michigan punk band Goddamn Gallows who were accused of raping a woman, has said that her clients are innocent and that she intends to take the case to trial if the charges are not dropped.

Quentin Price, 29, of New Orleans, who handles merch for the band, and the band's drummer Uriah Baker, 29, of Lansing, Mich., were both charged with first degree sexual assault following an incident that took place during a house party the band attended after performing a club in New Haven.

Other members of the band told the New Haven Register that a woman at the party pulled Baker and Price into a back room for consensual sex, but the woman claims that the two men raped her.

Bail has been set at $400,000 and the bail commissioner also noted that Baker has a criminal record for drugs and an outstanding warrant in California, the New Haven Register reported.

The band in the meantime, has hired a replacement drummer to continue their tour. They are holding a benefit concert in Philadelphia on Sept. 4, to help defray legal costs for the two men. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
